Auto Accidents in the Antelope Valley

Unfortunately, the Antelope Valley beginning with Santa Clarita, Valencia and going up the 14 freeway to the cities of Palmdale and Lancaster have a very high rate of vehicular accidents causing injuries.  This is due to the level of traffic for persons commuting to the Los Angeles area for work or recreation and the nature of a freeway which, in places, is only two lanes in one direction, is heavily traveled by both cars, trucks, and semi-trucks and has steep angles of elevation that affect vehicle speed.  Oftentimes accident liability can be attributed to following to closely or "tailgating", unsafe lane changes (a frequent cause of both car and motorcycle accidents), and traveling at an unsafe speed for conditions like weather, construction or road conditions.
